COVID-19 Update

At Meadowlark Ridge, we take our hospitality mission very seriously. And hospitality is, first and foremost, taking care of you.  A small bed and breakfast inherently reduces your risk of exposure to COVID-19 due to limited occupancy and plenty of space for distancing.

We are currently taking a limited access approach only renting one room per floor so there will be no accidental close interaction of guests.  You may call us at any time to inquire if any other guests might be present in the house.

We will only rent the second room on the second floor if you are traveling with family or close friends and would like for us to do so. Otherwise, no more than four overnight guests will be allowed in the house at any one time.

Each bedroom has its own private bathroom.  Mid-stay linen services and bathroom cleaning will be suspended for guests staying less than four nights.

We will continue to offer breakfast for our guests to suit your schedule.  We will also assist in connecting you with restaurants, attractions, and businesses in the area that are open and ready to serve you safely.

Virginia is currently in the third phase of the “Forward Virginia” Plan issued by the Governor.   We will monitor the situation and adapt our approach in keeping with guidance from the CDC and Virginia Department of Health

Visit CDC’s website for additional travel considerations.

Frederick Law Olmsted said, “The occasional contemplation of natural scenes of an impressive character, particularly if this contemplation occurs in connection with relief from ordinary cares, change of air, and change of habits, is favorable to health and vigor.”

Get outdoors, breathe fresh air, enjoy the sun, and exercise!
