Meadowlark Ridge

Many years ago this area was known as Oak Hill and had its own post office and one-room schoolhouse. Oak Hill Cemetery, within walking distance, has gravestones dating back to 1793 and was once the location of many Methodist camp meetings in the 1800s.

"My vision for Meadowlark Ridge is to offer fine service, luxurious amenities, and a memorable stay for every guest. It is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with friends and nature or to get out and explore the history and beauty of the Shenandoah Valley."                ~  Don Horn, Owner

Reconnect With Nature

Fence along open green yard surrounded by green trees

“Just being surrounded by bountiful nature, rejuvenates and inspires us.”
– E. O. Wilson

Meadowlark Ridge offers an opportunity to reconnect with nature for a relaxing getaway. Experience the calming effect of biophilia - a concept popularized by E. O. Wilson that recognizes our innate love of nature and living systems.

Carefully selected natural materials surround you – from the log interior to the wood and leather furnishings. The views from each room and sounds from outdoors help reinforce this strong connection to nature, helping to relax your mind and reduce stress. The bird themes and artwork by local artists enhance this experience throughout.

Meadowlark Ridge Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with all that you love in the Shenandoah Valley.
